Low or Zero Interest Personal Loans During Challenging Times
For members facing financial hardship because of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Gesa is offering personal loans at low or zero interest to help during your time of need.
Personal loans can cover bills and other expenses associated with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. These include:
- Interrupted employment and income
- Childcare costs
- Other unexpected impacts caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19)

Home Loan Forbearance
If you are facing financial hardship due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Gesa is offering a forbearance, or pause, on Home Loan payments for eligible members.* You can pause your Home Loan payments for three to six months to help you through these challenging times. Contact Mortgage Servicing at 877.636.4010 for more information about the options available to you.
Home Loans eligible for a forbearance include:
- First Mortgages
- Second Mortgages, such as Fixed Rate Home Equity Loans (excludes Home Equity Lines of Credit)
Applying for this important benefit is easy. Simply call Mortgage Servicing at 877.636.4010 and let them know you are facing a hardship due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Once you apply, your payments will be paused immediately from the date of your request.
*Some restrictions apply. For full program details, call Mortgage Servicing at 877.636.4010. Utilizing a Home Loan forbearance will extend the term of your loan for the number of months that are paused. Interest will continue to accrue. With interest continuing to accrue, your loan balance will be higher at the end of the forbearance than when the forbearance began.
Student Loan Forbearance
In light of the significant impact and ongoing uncertainty around the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, please know that your well-being and financial needs are our top priorities.
With that in mind, Student Choice has taken steps to ensure that you have access to the services and personalized support that you may need.
