RICHLAND, WASH. (May 6, 2026) – Gesa, a leading credit union in the Pacific Northwest dedicated to driving meaningful change in the communities it serves, announced it will serve as the title stage sponsor for the City of Chehalis’ first-ever Fourth of July Celebration on July 4, 2026. The event, dedicated to Veterans and active service members and timed to honor the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America, will bring together families, local heroes, and community members from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. for a live concert performance, food truck court, community vendor tables, a beer garden, and a fireworks display at the Gesa Credit Union Stage powered by Community.
“The Chehalis community deserves a big celebration for such a monumental occasion,” said Brandon Allison, Gesa VP of Community Impact. “Being part of this event is our way of giving the spotlight to the community. Gesa is proud to stand alongside the City of Chehalis as they launch something special for the ‘twin cities’ and for every local hero who makes this region what it is.”
Gesa will present local hero awards throughout the evening. Honorees will be selected from community nominations gathered in the weeks leading up to the event, in a process designed to recognize the firefighters, law enforcement officers, educators, healthcare workers, and Veterans who strengthen the Chehalis-Centralia area every day. Community members who wish to nominate a local hero for recognition at the event can do so here.
For more than 70 years, Gesa has supported the families and businesses that make Pacific Northwest communities strong, from student-run credit union branches and scholarships to community investments across Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. Now, Gesa brings that same spirit of belonging and investment to the Chehalis-Centralia community because these neighbors, local heroes, and families are who Gesa strives to celebrate.
