Notes and Fees

No purchase necessary to enter or win. Odds of winning are based on total number of entries received. Individuals can also enter by mailing a handwritten 3” x 5” note card with their name, address, date of birth, and telephone number to: Gesa Credit Union, Attn. Marketing Dept., at 51 Gage Blvd, Richland, WA 99352. Notecards must be received by Gesa Credit Union before 5:00 pm (Pacific Daylight Time) December 31, 2023. Alternate entry is limited to one (1) entry per individual and address. Contest begins on August 21, 2023 and ends on December 31, 2023, at 11:59 p.m.

New members must open a savings account, a SmartPlus Checking account, and a debit card to be entered into the sweepstakes. The checking account must be opened with a minimum deposit of $25 if opened online. No minimum ongoing balance is required to be entered into the sweepstakes. Additionally, referred Gesa Credit Union (“Gesa”) consumer debit cardholders will automatically receive one entry for every time you use your debit card during the promotional period. ATM transactions do not count. There is no limit to number of members you can refer and no limit of number of entries you can receive by referring or swiping your debit card.

This drawing is open to any legal resident of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, 18 years of age or older, at the time of entry. There will be a monthly drawing for one (1) prize of $25,000 account credit to the referee and one (1) prize of $25,000 account credit to the referrer for a total of three (3) months and August 21-31. During the month of December 2023, there will be a grand prize of a $35,000 account credit to the referee and a grand prize of $35,000 account credit to the referrer. Monthly prizes will be given to one (1) referee and one (1) referrer each month with the first drawing taking place on Friday, September 1, followed by Monday, October 2, Wednesday, November 1 and Friday, December 1. The grand prize winner will be drawn on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Winner does not need to be present to claim prize. Winner may decline the prize, and a second random winner will be selected. Gesa Credit Union will not be held liable for any increase in income tax liability. Gesa Credit Union will report winnings over $600 on IRS Form 1099-MISC. Consult your tax advisor.
