Gesa Celebrates International Credit Union (ICU) Day

ICU Day has been celebrated on the third Thursday of October since 1948. This is a day when credit unions from all over the world celebrate the credit union movement, show appreciation for their members and give back to the community.

On October 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Gesa will be partnering with Second Harvest to host a Mobile Market in each of Gesa’s six regions. These Mobile Markets are open to the public and provide free, nutritious food. If you or a loved one is in need of food assistance, please visit one of the Gesa Member Service Centers (MSCs) listed below on October 19. No documentation is required.

Mobile Markets will be located at the following Gesa MSCs:

  • Moses Lake – 721 S. Pioneer Way
  • North Spokane – 9625 N. Newport Hwy.
  • Richland – 825 Goethals Dr.
  • Walla Walla – 1355 W. Poplar St.
  • Wenatchee – 1005 N. Wenatchee Ave.
  • Yakima – 1825 South 1st St.

For more information on Mobile Markets, contact Second Harvest at 509.545.0787, Ext. 208 or visit www.2-harvest.org/calendar. To learn more about Gesa in the community, click here.
