Gesa Gives Back: Walk to End Alzheimer’s

Every 65 seconds someone develops Alzheimer’s disease and over 135,000 people are currently battling this disease in Washington and Idaho combined. Gesa has joined the fight to end this disease by forming teams and raising funds to support the Alzheimer’s Association. Gesa is a proud supporter of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in the following communities:

  • Wenatchee – September 8 at Pybus Public Market
  • Moses Lake – September 15 at Yonezawa Park
  • Yakima – September 15 at Sarg Hubbard Park
  • Spokane – October 6 at Riverfront Park
  • Walla Walla – October 6 at Fort Walla Walla Park
  • Tri-Cities – October 14 at Columbia Park

Visit any Member Service Center from now through October 14 to purchase an Alzheimer’s Association Promise Flower for $1. The funds raised will help fight Alzheimer’s disease through vital research, advocacy efforts, and support programs and services in our community. Our members and staff donations will play an important role in the lives of people living with Alzheimer’s, their families and caregivers. Please encourage your family, friends and colleagues to join the cause by learning more about the Alzheimer’s Association. Visit www.alz.org for valuable resources and to join a walk near you. Thank you for making an impact!

The end of Alzheimer's starts with you!
