Want Gesa to sponsor your next event?

Gesa Credit Union is dedicated to giving back to our communities.

If you have an event you wish to be considered for sponsorship, please read the following guidelines and submit your request using the form below.

Communitee

Sponsorship guidelines

To be eligible for sponsorship, your request must meet the following criteria:

  • Submitted at least 60 days prior to your event.
  • Connected with Gesa’s charitable giving categories, which are education and support for Local Heroes populations: Firefighters, Healthcare, Law Enforcement, Teachers, and Veterans.
  • Located in the same community as a Gesa Credit Union Branch.
 

Education Requirements

Programs, organizations, and initiatives that enhance or support education in our communities including financial education, college readiness, primary and secondary educations, workforce training, and other activities that expand educations opportunities for all ages.

 

Local Heroes Requirements

Programs, organizations, and initiatives that aim to improve the overall wellbeing and enhance the lives of our Local Heroes populations and those they support:

  • Firefighters
  • Healthcare Workers
  • Law Enforcement Officers
  • Teachers
  • Veterans

Exclusions

Gesa does not provide donations or sponsorships for the following:

  • Activities, groups, or events not in a Gesa Community
  • Administrative expenses or expenses such as conference and travel
  • Projects whose primary purpose is religious or political
  • Sponsorship requests that benefit or fund a single individual’s participation in an event or activity

*APY* APY = Annual Percentage Yield. Rates, terms, and fees are subject to change. APY is accurate as of the first day of the month – the last dividend declaration date.
SmartPlus Checking*To earn the higher rate, you must:
  1. Enroll in eStatements
  2. Make a monthly direct deposit of over $200
  3. Complete 15 debit card transactions
  4. Provide and maintain a valid email address
  5. Limit one account per member
For any month where the account does not meet the qualification requirements, the account will earn a lower rate. Minimum balance of $5 needed to open.Qualifying account balances meet minimum requirements. APY subject to change monthly. Rate may change after the account is opened. The qualifying period begins with the first day of the calendar month and ends on the last day of the calendar month at 6:00 P.M. Pacific Time. No monthly fees and no minimum balance required to maintain account. Minimum opening deposit of $5. Fees could reduce earnings. Limit of one specialty checking account (Smart Plus Checking) per member.
